But since this is old commie ammo, it does come with some caveats. Chief among them is that it is corrosive. Because its Berdan primers will leave behind a corrosive residue when fired, you’ll need to give your rifle a little extra care while you clean it. Second, the steel-filled 148 grain full metal jacket projectiles in this ammo will attract a magnet. Last but not least, the steel cases of this ammunition cannot be reloaded. The cases are lacquered for increased protection against moisture and humidity, however, and they contain clean-burning powder.
